The library parking lot is directly east of the library. Parking is provided for patrons only while inside the library. Parking is not provided to cardholders while patronizing Main Street businesses before or after visiting the library. The south side of Main Street in front of the library is a NO PARKING ZONE from 4:00 p.m.--6:00 p.m. weekdays. The police promptly tow vehicles left past 4:00 p.m. Additionally, parking is limited to one hour at all other times. Library visitors who need a longer time should park in the library lot. 24-Hour Drive-Up Depository A drive-up depository for library materials, which is always open, is located in the parking lot. Materials that are due on any particular day are considered to have been returned on time if they are placed in the depository any time before the library opens for service the next day--at 9:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Overdue fines are not excused for late items returned in the drop. The depository is cleared and the items are discharged at pre-arranged intervals. Library patrons who wish to return materials and borrow more immediately should return items inside the library so that they can be immediately discharged.
